My name is Jenna Williamson and I grew up on Manitoulin Island, the largest freshwater island in the world. Having lived in an abundance of nature, it has been important for me to support any and all efforts to retain biodiversity, nourish the land, water, air, ecosystems, and to reduce our destructive impact on the environment.
In my teenage years, I worked at the Up Top Sports Shop in Mindemoya, Ontario - established by my family in 1921. I then studied at the University of Guelph to improve my writing skills before transferring to Conestoga College for Bookkeeping. Over the years of working with businesses and in communication-focused roles, I found my passion in administrative work, caring for people and ecosystems, and humanitarian-focused organizations in their mission to improve society.
Together with Iron & Earth, I am seeking to take inspiration from Manitoulin Island and assist its members to achieve a healthier society that nourishes people and ecosystems. I strive towards fostering a kinder and more considerate society for all people and beings.

As individuals and teams we may make mistakes along the way, but we are dedicated to growth, openness, compassion, and forgiveness. These principles in our work are essential to building successful and healthy relationships with individuals, communities, organizations, and governments.
We look forward to building a path to lead us to a better relationship with Indigenous nations and the environment around us based on peace, friendship, and respect.
